SaaS Infrastructure Cost Calculator

This is not a provider invoice simulator. It classifies workload and shows planning cost bands plus the first optimization levers.

A01Import Infracost JSON through the Evidence Lab and save it to the session.
This report is decision support. Observations, derivations, user inputs and heuristics are deliberately separated.
EVIDENCE BRIDGE
Infracost JSON

Compare the planning model with IaC cost evidence.

Generate Infracost JSON from Terraform, Terragrunt or another supported IaC source and save it to the session. The cost tool compares the reference model with the IaC estimate without treating Infracost as an invoice.

WHEN TO USE IT
  • See which workload dimension is likely to pressure SaaS cost first
  • Think beyond MAU by separating DB requests, bandwidth, storage and AI load
  • Identify optimization levers before changing infrastructure providers
METHOD / INTERPRETATION

Why is this not a provider price table?

Cloud pricing changes with region, plan, discounts, cache hit rate and usage pattern. Instead of simulating one invoice, the tool normalizes workload and exposes which resource class is creating cost pressure.

Why optimize before migrating?

A high bill does not always mean the provider is wrong. Excess polling, missing caching, uncontrolled AI calls or unnecessary asset transfer can survive a migration, so the output highlights those levers first.

BOUNDARY

The dollar band is a capacity-planning signal, not a current provider price, quote or invoice forecast.

If this output needs to become a real technical decision, move it into the FORGE flow.
