Why I Do Not Open a Subdomain for Every New Tool
A subdomain is not an ideas folder. It should express an independent value loop and a real release or ownership boundary.
A subdomain creates instant organizational satisfaction. It also creates another SEO, deploy, analytics, navigation, auth, copy and maintenance surface.
Before opening one for a new tool, I ask three things: does the tool create independent value, does it have its own user job and return loop, and does separate release or data ownership actually help it?
If not, it stays inside the existing system.
A subdomain is not a folder for ideas. It is the technical expression of a real product boundary.
